Australian Made. 4 cakes - 200g each.

Titillating, tantilising Taro. Forget the humble potato, this is one tuber you don’t want to dismiss. Moorish and addictive, this smooth, viscous filling leaves a lingering, satisfying aftertaste.

Ingredients

Filling: Lotus seed, Sugar, Yam Paste, Refined Vegetable Oil (Palm, Peanut, Sesame), Trehalose, Maltose, Water, Salt, Permitted Colouring and Flavouring substances.

Pastry: Wheat flour, Golden Syrup, Canola Oil, Lye Water, Egg WashSodium Carbonate.

ALL OUR CAKES CONTAINS EITHER PEANUT, SESAME AND/OR GLUTEN

A Delicate Bite

I was excited to try the Taro Moon Cake but ended up a bit disappointed. The taro filling lacked the distinct, fresh flavor of real taro, making it feel bland compared to what I expected. The biggest letdown, though, was the outer skin—it was so delicate that it fell apart as soon as I tried to cut it, making it impossible to get clean quarters. Instead of a neat moon cake, I was left with a crumbly mess. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations for a traditional moon cake experience.
